DPL Rebels Come Together for a Memorable Iftar

Ramadan is a month of reflection, gratitude, and togetherness. It is a time to strengthen faith, practice kindness, and come closer as a community. Embracing this spirit, on March 19th, DPL’s Culture Team organized a warm and welcoming Iftar gathering at the DPL Headquarters in Islamabad.

The event brought together the entire DPL team, including employees, leadership, and the CEO and Founder, for an evening of unity and gratitude. The venue was beautifully decorated in a Ramadan theme, with soft lighting and carefully arranged seating that added to the emotional and spiritual atmosphere.

Shahrukh and Umais hosted the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that everyone felt included. Umais started the evening with a recitation of the Holy Quran, setting a peaceful tone for the night. As the call to Maghrib prayer echoed, everyone gathered to break their fast together, sharing delicious food and heartfelt conversations.

The evening naturally turned into a space for reflection, with many sharing their thoughts on the spirit of Ramadan. A special highlight of the night was Muhammad Ahmed’s speech. Having recently performed Umrah, he shared his spiritual journey and insights, inspiring others to take the journey.

“Standing before the Kaaba, you realize how small your worries are and how vast Allah’s mercy is. It’s a life-changing experience, and I hope everyone gets the chance to feel that connection,” he shared.

Others spoke about their past experiences of I’tikaf, while some expressed their hopes of observing it this year. Meanwhile, a few Rebels added to the spiritual atmosphere by taking part in Naat Khuwani, filling the room with soulful praises.

Reflecting on the evening, Waleed Baqir Riaz, Founder of DPL, said:
